La Galaxy Look to Have a New Tabloid Friendly Front Man in Robbie Keane

Seriously Robbie, I would love to cross the ball into you in warmer Weather back in Cali.

(Bleacher Report)Irish striking legend Robbie Keane could be set for a move to the United States as the LA Galaxy are believed to be offering the player a two-year contract that would see him join from Tottenham Hotspur for a fee of £5 million.

Over a year ago Keane had been linked with a move to the MLS but nothing materialized as he returned to Spurs from Liverpool after what had seemed at first like a match made in heaven, but it went south rather quickly.

Keane would be set to join forces with David Beckham as the second biggest English transfer to move to the Hollywood club. The Irishman's wife, Claudine Keane, would fit right in with Victoria Beckham as another fine specimen for the Bleacher Report Swagger writers to gawk about.

A move to the MLS could see Keane explode onto the scene once again as he has all the skills to be one of the best in the history of the game had he been in more places at the right time as opposed to almost every place at the wrong time.

The majority of the moves in his career imploded because they were either too soon or too late, and for once this could be his chance to move to the right place at the right time as at only 31-years old he could have as many as six or seven good seasons at the lower level of competition to the English game.

Ranking the Top 10 English Players Who've Played in Foreign Leagues

Victor Decolongon/Getty Images
(Bleacher Report) England is the birthplace of the world's greatest game. Not only does it have the title of home of the beautiful game, but it is also home to many legendary players in the sport.

Men like Peter Shilton, who holds the record for the most caps in the English National Team at 125, and Manchester United immortal, Sir Bobby Charlton. Billy Wright also is an immortalized English man as he spent his entire career at Wolverhampton Wanderers during their glory years and also was capped 105 times by the Three Lions National Team.

However, not all Englishmen have played there entire career for clubs on their own soil. Some felt it was time to venture out at one point or another for at least several years to make a name for themselves on a different nations stage.

The following is a list of 10 of England's best exports that succeeded on European or other worldly soil. Also as a side note, many articles that I found in my research include players that were born in Wales and Scotland, so in my version I want to keep it to players strictly from England and not the entire UK. So if you wonder why you aren't seeing Paul Lambert or Graeme Souness, they were born in Scotland and Wales......Click Here to View the Slideshow.

Hard Work and Class Combine in both Kuyt and Suarez
Dirk Kuyt silenced many critics once again today as he hit a hat-trick against Manchester United in front of the Kop at Anfield on Sunday afternoon. The Dutchman whom has been criticized time and again as being lacking in skill or quality but again he proves why he is picked week end and week out for Liverpool and his national team. He is a tireless team player, and that is truly what Kuyt is.

Kuyt runs till he cant breath and keeps going. Few players show his dedication and hard work on the pitch and its days like Sunday against teams like Manchester United that his contribution and effort pays off.

Not only was he gracious in his own performance but above himself thanked his teammates first in his post match press conference when declared the Man of the Match. Two of his goals came through the masterclass performance of Luis Suarez who is truly beginning to shine in Liverpool Red.

A Legend at Feyenoord before a Kop Legend
Kuyt told the press he "wanted to let the first one go in" because Suarez had truly deserved it, but he wasn't sure if it would roll wide, so he took it and was grateful to have had the chance.

His second goal came only five minutes later thanks to a misplaced Nani header that made the Portuguese attacker for United look like Liverpool best distributor of the afternoon. What Nani was thinking no one knows but Dirk was on that one like the ham and mash dinner David Beckham used swooned his Tottenham co-trainers with just recently.

Beardsley Last Red to Hat-Trick United
His third and final goal for his first Hat Trick since 2005 and his Dutch Eredivisie days at Feyenoord Rotterdam was also courtesy of Luis Suarez and his brilliance on the day. A powerful free kick from about 20 meters out was blasted through the wall and Edwin Van Der Sar failed to control it and Kuyt drilled it home in front of the Kop.

His treble was the first to be scored against United by a Red since Peter Beardsley and Kuyt's first and only for Liverpool and the first Liverpool first team hat-trick of Kenny Dalglish's reign.
