The Reds face off against a tough Bolton Wanderers squad that is truly a more threatening side than many give them credit for. Owen Coyle has drastically turned the club around since he took over from Gary Megson halfway through the 2009-10 season.
Last year the Trotters looked a lock to finish in the top eight, but a late disastrous run of poor form in their last five games saw them drop drastically into the lower middle table.
However, despite that unfortunate result in their previous campaign they have come out once again firing on all cylinders with a superb opening day 4-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers. It was unfortunate to see them lose against Manchester City as their late comeback failed to materialize. If Coyle can rebuild his front line and continue to strengthen before the window closes they could fare very well in the first half.
Liverpool will hope to build on their results against both Arsenal and Exeter City after two straight victories. Kenny Dalglish will be keen to see his charges continue their run against Wanderers, and I do not foresee too many changes if any from last week's starting 11 other than I expect Luis Suarez to get his second league start of the season.
That being said let's get to the team news, transfer dealings, injury reports and all the latest as we head towards kickoff at 5:30 BST or 12:30pm EST depending where you are......CLICK HERE TO VIEW ALL THE UPDATES.
